Robinson family North or South Shields

I know twins Annie and Caroline Robinson were born on 25th April 1886.
I want to know about their father. One unverified source has him as Wilson Robinson who had a cake shop in South Shields (Robinson & Dickson) but this doesn't square with the poverty of Caroline.
Any information would be appreciated.

If you track Caroline and Ann to the 1891 census they are with their widowed mother Isabella Robinson age 42 and her parents Robert and Jane Dixon .
Isabella Dixon married 2.4.1870 at St Stephens South Shields a William Robinson age 23 s of Samuel Robinson.(Her father Robert from Familysearch).
Strangely despite being noted as married Isabella is also with her parents on the 1881 census.
The 1861 census 5 Haddock St Westoe seems to be them

Agnes 42 Derry
William 14 same Scotland
Agnes 12 South Shields
Elizabeth 9
Sarah Ann  6
James 4
Mary Jane 1
Will look to see if I can spot him on latter censuses.
ps Found them in Westoe 1871 William 24 cooper Scotland ,Isabella 22 South Shields and Agnes 7mths.

A tree has the twins father down as William Gillespie Robinson born 1847 Scotland now is this just a coincidence .....Found a marriage for William Gillespie Robinson 27.2,1882 at Aughton Lancashire says he was a widower same occupation cooper.. father Samuel Robinson draper ? married a Jane Bell
In the 1881 census this same Wm G Robinson occupation cooper lodging 108,Stanhope Street
his occupation is grocer by 1901/11 no family ..He died 1924 Ormskirk
