AND thank you for the marriage entries.  I had seen the marriage licence entry for Cornelius.  And it's lovely to see that one of the witnesses to Mary Jane's marriage was my friend's direct ancestor - William Walsh Blayney.

Shaun - that entry in the Dublin Weekly Register in 1846 - any clues as to what kind of entry it was?  I assume it was a death entry.

Unfortunately that "tiny url" doesn't seem to work for me

That is indeed a death notice in 1846.

Just found the images on Family Search for the burials of Ester and Robert Blayney at Kirk Braddan - 17 May 1833 (aged 1 year) and 5 April 1834 (aged 3 months).
