Welcome to rootschat, Deek22.

Could you say where you have looked, and also which country?

Have you got information on your paternal grandfather, and his Father, etc?

Thank-you

Hi DEEK22 and welcome to RootsChat,
I suggest a couple of things for you to do.

a Try a search for your name interest from the box at the top of this page. Several spellings as you will see and 100-200 references on just the Yule variation so that should keep you occupied for a while I think ;D

b have a look at the Surname Interests. Where's that? Scroll down to the very bottom of this page and it's under Your Tools in the brown block. Click on Quick Search then 'Y' and a table will appear. Pick your variation to view who else is interested.

You can contact the RootsChatter by PM (personal message) to exchange details but you need to make 3 normal posts first, required as a spam protection strategy by the Management.

Good hunting
Glamorgan - Carpenter, Chamberlain, Ellis, Watkins, Rees, Bevan
Wiltshire - Carpenter, Chamberlain, Ellis, Merrett
Essex - Burdon, Taylor, Menzies
Canada - Burdon, Parkinson
Australia - Carpenter, Burdon

Have you got birth, marriage or death dates for either of them?

Added:
As we do not know how old you are, your grandfather could be any birth year from before 1900 to 1980

Welcome Deek22  :)

Try http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ , it's free to register and you can search the indexes for free.

You should be able to find your parents marriage , although this probably wont be available online.

If your father has passed on would a likely death year be 1995 , Fife , born c1932 ?
