Thank you.
As for the illegible part of the place name, I sure can't work it out!

Hi, I found the information about Jesse and Jane's marriage and the possible marriage for Jane's parents on www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/-irlcar2/. For the Jesse marriage, go onto site, log into baptisms and when that comes up click on St Mary's and go by name Dale. For 2nd marriage, click on marriages in main menu and the onto Carlow Cathedral and then by date. The other things are on Irishgenealogy.ie.Hope this helps,Kim

Hi, just a note about the 1851 census. I believe it reads Lachlan cty Carlow. Cty is probably the abbreviation for county. Its just the placement of the "Y" makes it look odd. Kim

Well, the birth certificate for Jane's daughter arrived - she is indeed originally Jane Fleming, so the marriage Kim found is the correct one. Wonder if the marriage Kim found for earlier Flemmings are her parents or not. Is there anyway to find Jane Fleming's birth in or around 1802 presumably in Leighlin, possibly Carlow?
