1861 and 1881 census lookup please cwmaman aberdare and ystradyfodwg

Hi. Wonder if anyone can help me find the Davies family I have them in the 1871 census and 1891 census but cannot find them in 1861 or in 1881 census.
 1871 census they were living in 99 tynybedw ystradyfodwh treorchy
william davies head aged 42 born 1829 in llansawel carmarthen he was a labourer
Ann wife age 42 born 1929 Llangadock carmarthen
Mary daughter 11 born 1860 aberdare glam
Elizabeth daughter aged 8 born 1863 glam.
Daniel son aged 4 born 1867 blaenllechau glam.
william J son aged 10 mths born 1871 glam.

 1891 census Myrtle hill high st. ystradyfodwg treorchy.
Ann davies head widow aged 61 1830 carmarthen


Daniel son aged 23 born 1868 weigher glam
william j son age 20 born 1871 clerk glam
thomas jones son in law married 40 1851 cwmaman
eliza jones daughter married 28 1863 ystradyfodwg
eliza A jones 5
william T jones 3
mary M 2 glam

Ijust cannot find them in ystradyfodwg area at all any help would be much appreciated jere.

Hi,

I can only find 1 that may help you but I can not look into it now as I have no credits. This is 1881 Census.

Ref RG11  Folio 79 Page 28 Piece 5301
This Ann Davies is the right age Married living at Dumfries St which there are 2 about a mile or so apart at Treorchy and Treherbert both in Ystradyfodwg of Course. I hope this helps some.

It looks like they are under the variant spelling - Davis - in 1861 at Cwmaman Houses,Aberdare

Thank you both for your hel  the 1881 census 39 dumfries st. treorchy is not my anndavies the husband and children are different. but now have them on the 1861 census thanx again jer

A very long shot,particularly because the father is down as a "wood agent",but there is a scrap of a record sheet from Ystradyfodwg in 1881 where the Christian names of a Davies family are missing(as well as the address and references!),but the children look very similar to the family in question.

   ?  hn      "                    Son             10                "

Blaenllechau is near Ferndale,I believe,for Daniel,and the second son could be William John.

The only reference I can find for the page is RG11/5303/90A
Dependent upon your database,it may be after RG11/9303/91/14!

Hiya Dispair.
Thank you once again for your look up it does seem to point to the davies family both boys born ferndale area and eliza born cwmaman  i did notice that the mother ann was a widow by then.
