Have you traced her family as far forwards as the 1911 census?

What information do you already have?

I have to admit, I am mystified as to why people want to trace living relatives? :-\
I am far more interested in my family's history! ;D

I do not think that rootschat deals with living people, so what sort of information are you after?

And if there are 6 children by 1891, and more later, and those children all have about 10 children etc, that is quite a lot of people you are trying to locate.

Have you looked to see if any of them are in any public trees in ancestry, or other websites?

Added:
Was going to say that I could not see her birth - but she was born in America, did you know that?

Your best bet may be to register the surnames on the Surname Interests Board (SIT)

Scroll down to the bottom of this page and under "TOOLS" you will find the link

No additional children shown on the 1901 entry so the count is 6.  However - as mentioned above - that can lead to tracing a heck of a lot of descendants from 1901 to find any still living today

In 2 public trees on ancestry, with some marriages of children identified, but little else.

You are going to have to hope for some unusual names.

Florence Cornelia Hartley nee Benson was born in New York. Probably New York City rather than somewhere else in the State.

Thank you for all your help so far everyone.
I have quite a lot of information about Florence and family. The reason I was interested in finding living relatives was in the hope that they may have some old family photographs. I have a couple of other members of the family. There is also an family mystery that I am trying to resolve.

Hi, I am also interested in the Benson family, I would like to know why Florence's parents moved to America, it looks like they may have followed a Staffordshire businessman over to America ending in New Orleans, to work. There is a question over whether her mother's father really was a music professor, as it is stated on marriage certificate, but I can't find any traces. Also there is a family tradition that Florence's brother Joseph William fled the area after a scandal, moving to South Shields and changing his families name.
In addition Joseph William married Elizabeth Moore, we would like any information about pugilistic boxers in her family (Abraham Moore).
