Woodland Park
« on: Tuesday 16 December 14 16:28 GMT (UK) »
I have been reading the history of Woodland Park and would like to add my story. I was born on 11 3 41 at 46 Woodland Road, two doors away from Gaerwood House. When it was bombed I was  in my pram outside the house and my Mother told me that glass had fallen on the pram.  When my Brother and I used  to play we would climb over the wall into the ruins with other children and play for hours. When it was made into a park no-one used to go there. :)
