Hi still cannot locate him in 1891 but I do hope someone can provide leads re any Railway records for him?

Does the marriage certificate in 1867 provide any details of his trade, as there is this Thomas in 1871:-

Thomas Bell 27 Married occ Brick Setter b Radcliffe
He is shown as a lodger at High Street, Tattenhall, Chester, Cheshire.
Census Ref RG10/3718/40/46

OK located the marriage 23rd October 1867 St Mary, Finchley

Hi thanks yes all through his cenus he is
1851 scholar
1861 he was a bricklayer in Radcliffe on Trent ( and he was next door visiting the famous cricketer George Parr!)
1867 he was in Finchley on the marriage cert as builder (as was his father even though he was also Innkeeper at the Manvers Arms at Radcliffe at the time)
1871 he was a Lodger in Tattenhall in Cheshire and was Bricklayer, his wife and children were boarders in Lazonby Penrith Cumberland and she is shown as sub contractors wife.
1881 all family together in London when he was a foreman bricklayer.
The change to inspector or the steps on the ladder to inspector happened after 1881. Weird about 1891, I bet its a mistranscription somewhere.
