Hi

You will need to purchase the marriage certificate mentioned in your other post to get their fathers names & occupations and possibly witness names

i may be wrong but perhaps this query should have been posted on the Northumberland page ? where local knowledge could be an advantage

the Sunderland referred to could be North Sunderland in Northumberland   :-\ and Cowpen is in Northumberland also .

however, I do realise  that part of Northumberland was under the jurisdiction of Durham but am unsure of the dates perhaps someone could help with that info.

Rosie's advice is the way to go first, it will narrow the field for you

The marriage is registered in Sunderland--the one in Co. Durham.  The parts of Northumberland that were part of Co. Durham changed around 1843.

I also think you are going to have to order the marriage to get the father's names and occupations.   There are probably many George Parkers born around London.  Margaret Thompson--she was born Cramlington.  There will be lots with the same name and even in the same area to locate her before marriage.

Northumberland:  Grey/Gray, Richardson, Barnfather, Heron, Redpath
