Missing ancestors
« on: Saturday 20 December 14 15:44 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I'm trying to trace the parents and younger siblings of my grt,grt grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Burton. Her elder brother William King b.1843 Biggleswade is fully traceable as is Sarah Elizabeth, it is their parents William King b.1811 Bungay, Suffolk & Ann (ne¨¦ Field) b.1821 Northampton that I'm struggling with. I have the 1851 census for the above living at 22 Queen St, Pimlico (Sarah was born there 1850) but as the 1861 census hasn't survived I'm stuck. William and Ann went on to have 4 more daughters between 1852 and 1860 also in Pimlico so they were obviously still living there. I've got nothing for the parents or the 4 younger children 1871 onwards. What do you think?
Thanks

Possible death between 1860 and 1871 - there are a few possibles up to 1864 (when ages weren't recorded) in the right area

When did Sarah and William (junior) each marry as their marriage certificates could tell you if William Senior at least was alive at that point

What are the names of the younger daughters?

I came here from UKCampsite as a suggestion from a forum member. Just newly signed up. They were going to help me with a query and said to use Chat but the link they gave me does not seem to work. Anyone got any suggestions.  I do not know their username on here?

New members usually need 3 posts to use PM (personal Message) system and it may be that you didn't have enough posts to enter Chatroom- make 1 more post here then try link to Chat again.
