Anyone researching the Mostyn family from Abergele. Edwin Mostyn was a butcher around 1900

Is this Edwin Jnr - would be about 19 at the time?
 
The North Wales Chronicle, 27 May 1899, reported an athletic sports/gala at the Belle Vue Athletics Ground. Amongst the results

"100 yards flat handicap (confined to amateurs residing within a radius of six miles from Rhyl Town Hall); 1. Edwin Mostyn, Abergele (6 yards start); 2. Albert Owen, Rhyl (2 yards); 3. E W Parry, Prestatyn (2 yards). As Mostyn had previously taken part in a race for money he was disqualified and the 1st and 2nd prizes went to the men who came in second and third.

High Jump; 1. Edwin Mostyn, Abergele; 2. Robert Pearson, Overton; 3. Ernest Clark, Rhyl. Mostyn was also disqualified in this event and the 1st and 2nd  prizes went to the second and third men".

Just wasn't his day - unless he had also won the earlier money race?
