Hi,

I am so sorry I have not seen any of the replies to this thread until now when I have started looking into it again. Thank you for all your input.

Sadly I am fairly sure that Mosemol’s Thomas is not the same Thomas Gormley as I am looking for.

If anyone has any further input it would be appreciated. I will now go and work out how to turn the notifications on...!

Shosh

There are 4 birth certs for Thomas Gormley from 1899 to 1905 none of them are in a Mayo registration district.

Even if they were from Mayo how would you know it was the correct Thomas.
If there is no other family information known, what about his lorry, any idea who he drove for?

Hi again,

I have recently come across some electoral records that show Thomas Gormley living in Cambridge at various addresses between 1947 and 1953 with a Betty Winter/ Gormley who is my
relative. I assume this means he was established in the area and that this was his primary residence?

Any idea where I can go from here? I am hoping to get in touch with living family of his.

Many thanks
Shosh
