John Grenfell Hall, Australia

Hello!
I am trying to trace the story of the family of my G-Grandfather Ernest Granville Hall. In this instance, his eldest brother John Grenfell Hall, born Isles of Scilly Cornwall UK in 1888 (Father John Hall & Mother Mary Elizabeth Alexandra Moyle).
He arrived in Australia around 1910, around the time of his father's death.
I have discovered that he enlisted in the army (22nd battalion, 10th reinforcement, Reg. number 4122, Melbourne Victoria) during 1915 (WW1) and that he returned from the war to Australia in May 1919.
I would love to know why or how he came to be in Australia, and what happened in his life after WW1? I have a photo of each of his brothers, Charles, Ernest and Thomas, but sadly cannot identify any photos of his sisters Dorothy and Gladys, nor do I have any of John himself. I would be very interested in finding photos of these people.
If anyone who knows of (or indeed is a relation of) John Grenfell Hall please do get in touch!

I have been in contact with one of these people but looks like a direct descendant of John Grenfell Hall is researching too, so hopefully they will know more details on this side of the family, I will try and get in touch.
