As well as the help you'll get on here, I'm afraid you'll probably have to buy birth, marriage and/or death certificates at some stage.  It is not as easy as it would appear if you have only watched Who Do You Think You Are, but many experienced Rootschatters are always waiting to help you, and other beginners.

I think so far I am seeing what Mabel is seeing... Can't move so far from that 1947 death... :-\

There are three births showing for Eric and Rose from 1930 though the 1930s in Rotherham alone - won't mention names to protect people's privacy.

What info do you have that points to that 1913 birth for your Rose? All bits of info help with clues!

Then as LizzieW suggests, a copy of the 1913 birth certificate will be the only trustworthy way forward.

The age on the death certificate would have been given by the informant so is not always accurate. But 14 years adrift is a lot....and OLDER than she was if born in 1913?

Let us have the birth certificate details when you have decided to get it & we'll know where we are.

There are 2 trees on ancestry
http://trees.ancestry.co.uk/tree/5907564/person/6148811413?ssrc=
http://trees.ancestry.co.uk/tree/58231790/person/30054459944?ssrc=
which have Rose's birth in 1913 BUT the source of this year of birth is that she was 48 on the death index in 1947  :o
Perhaps these are your trees?

I got her DOB from various website's which include FREEBMD, ANCESTRY and FAMILYSEARCH.
I'll be getting her Birth Certificate ASAP, so then I'll have more info.

As Monica has found about those three birth's well I know about all three, One was my Grandad.
Those Family Tree's on Ancestry are most likely my Rose's Tree's.

Can I suggest to start...rather than ordering first the possible 1913 birth for a Rose Flint, instead you start with the 1930 marriage to Eric. This marriage cert will let you do a number of things. First and important given the dilemma we have on her age, is to check what age she showed at marriage. Then details on her father's name, witnesses names etc will all help a lot here...
