1891 and 1901 census Eliza Lewis
« on: Tuesday 06 January 15 21:47 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find out where in Radnorshire Eliza was born.  It has been non-sensically recorded as what looks live "Rhriculaw", "Rhreland" and "Rhuland" on these census documents.

Eliza aged 29 and Charles Lewis aged 35 lived with their children (and David Jones head)  in
1891 at Farm House Porthkerry Cardiff.

Eliza aged 42 and Charles Lewis aged 44 lived with their children in 1901 at 51 Lauria Street Barry, Glamorgan.

Please would someone with a knowledge of Radnorshire be so kind as to look at the birth town in Radnorshire recorded for Eliza Lewis in both these censuses for me and help me decipher this word!

Thank you.

Possibly Rhiwlen, aka Rhulen or Rulen?

From GenUKI:

"RULEN (RHULEN), a parochial chapelry in the hundred of COLWYN, county of RADNOR, SOUTH WALES, 7 miles (E. by S.) from Builth"
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
