hi, after searching all day and i have got nowhere so i thought i would ask the good people for help i am looking for the parents of john morgan jones and his wife jane owens john was born abt 1856 in pontadawe glamorgan wales and died abt 1943 in monmouthshire  jane was born in wales in 1862  help please dapter

It would help if you gave what information you already have and where you have searched.
If I am looking at the right couple, Jane is born 1869 in 1911 and 1870 in 1901.
Is this their marriage?
1891 June quarter Merthyr Tydfil volume 11a page 852

The marriage certificate would give you his father's name and occupation.

Yes - just found the bapt - very near Pontardawe

Edit - On the image David is listed as a doubler living at Craig Trebanos
