Thanks

In 1861 Martha.s son Edward had 18 year old Mary Ann and 14 year old Sarah  then 1 year old George Healey

That seems a big age gap wonder if it was actually a grandson passed off as a son !

Name   George Healey
Baptism Date   9 Nov 1859
Parish   Toxteth Park, Holy Trinity
Father's Name   Edward Healey
Mother's Name   Sarah Healey
Reference Number   283 TRI/2/1

Sarah would be aged about 36/37

so the 1841 Sarah Grundy may just be another relation after all!

I was just thinking the ,1941 Sarah Grundy makes sense if her husband was a mariner

Her teenage daughters Sarah and Ann  could have been in service somewhere but would have met Edward and George Healey when visiting their mother

I've not been able to find these Grundy's on any censuses keep coming across derby Grundy's but children are wrong ages .Names

Don't know the elder Sarah's maiden name

Sarah nee Grundy 1825 m Edward Healey 1847
I haven't found their siblings marriage yet I'm a bit slow on searches .

Also there are too many George Healey's b around 1860  to work out which is ours

I did find the babtisms of Martha's son George Dunbar Healey with his sister Sarah gotbaptised in 1829 several years after their birth

It's confusing because Sarah Grundy married Edward Healey in 1847 yet daughter Mary Ann Healey was born 1843 and Sarah Healey was born 1847 ....According to records ...I suppose only original documents will clear that up

And i did find another Martha named after her grandmother
George Healey and Ann nee Grundy had a daughter who was living with her aunt  Sarah and uncle edwardhealey aged 12 in 1871

With this family it's worth looking at consequence pages on census ...I also found their married daughter living next door on the next page.  But haven't come across the earlier Martha yet

Yes plimm the 1901 Sarah Healey is the right one nee GRUNDY she is with her widowed daughter Sarah RIXON

She consistently lived at Oliver street Birkenhead from 1871 tho changed house numbers a few times
..I put a general  post about that house hopping  on Cheshire board .

Btw 8 trees on ancestry have Martha Lloyd as married to Edward Healey the elder
