The only useful information that your grandfather Georges marriage cert may show is that his father is Edward Dyer and an occupation.

We can't post 1911 census details but I've found Jacoba Dyer born 1853 Holland in the West Ham district in the free index

Edward Dyer Jnr aged 30 lived at no.10 Elizabeth Place with his parents (though married, no mention of Ann), next door at no.11 lived Edward Thomas James Dyer also aged 30, with wife Jacolo or Jacoba and their 3 children.
From the siblings, I think my great grandfather is from no.10, my grandfathers marriage certificate should show this when it arrives.

Thank you dawnsh for the info. From my grandads marriage certificate I have found that Edward Thomas James Dyer was his father married to Jacoba Heesters, so that confirms the Dutch link.
Edward TJ's father was also Edward, so not sure how to find him.
From the birth records on line there are numerous Edward's with son named Edward.
I will keep at it.
