Tidworth Military Hospital Burials

I am doing some research for a relative

Her brother was born in, Tidworth Military Hospital, in 1954, he died there a month later, and she trying to locate a grave for him.

Barry Martin Austin, b 30 July 1954, d 9 Aug 1954

His father was Roy Austin, of 17 Gordon Barracks, Bulford, Wilts he was a Gunner R A

Unless he was buried in the place his parents were from, he would have been buried in Tidworth Military Cemetery.

I should have added that he may have been cremated, so that is another avenue for you to follow if he is not in the Military Cemetery. I would expect it to be Salisbury Crematorium.

Good evening,

Other possibilities would be Burial at St Leonards in Bulford, Bulford has a very large garrison church but not sure about a cemetery.

Or burial/cremation at Swindon cemetery/crematorium which would be as close as Salisbury.

Thank you very much for the information, I have e-mailed the link that Jebber gave me, and I have just found there Facebook site, so I have posted on there, if I get no results from that, then onto your suggestions

Tidworth Military Hospital, on Facebook, have just replied, unfortunately he is not there, so its on to St Leonards in Bulford.

Yes John, I was on that site, earlier today, but I could not get my head round it, mind you it full of a cold, it seems to be for earlier children, but I could be wrong.
