Frederick John Waller
« on: Wednesday 14 January 15 02:17 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for information on my uncle Frederick John Waller (my father Richard's eldest brother) born in Edmonton London in 1893 - son of Frederick and Ida Waller - 124 Brewery Rd, Kings cross, London. He left for Brisbane Australia on the 23/11/1913 (before my father was born) on the Themistocles.
He enlisted 22/11/1915 as a Gunner in the 9th Field army - where his address is listed as Wickham Terrace, Brisbane, occupation - Fireman and listing his father as next of kin. He sailed from Sydney, NSW on the HMATA Argylishire on the 11/05/1916 and returned to Australia 02/03/1919.

After that little is known - I presume as his father was listed as next of kin he wasn't married before 1919 - if he married at all - or if there were any children. Unknown when or where he died.

His brother Edward also went to Australia in 1927 but I don't know if the ever stayed together.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks Janis

Christina died in 17 August 1985 aged 83yrs Frederick died in 7 February 1986 aged 91yrs.He is down as John Frederick. They are memorialised at Mt Thompson Memorial Gardens.
Brother Edward Cyril died in Queensland 1981.

A couple of previous threads will provide some background and save duplication of information and unnecessary time spent searching.
