Hi Rose Gold,
The site won't let me message you direct. Your gg grandmother Katey was my gg aunt. My grampa was Henry (harry) McDonough who was Thomas McDonoughs son.
I recall my  grampa saying that his grandfather (Phillip) came to wales from county Mayo and they were travellers and tin men. The surname has changed over the years due to different pronunciations. My nan used to say macdonach.  I have found a lot of my information on ancestry as unfortunately the family don't appear to have been very close. I never met any of my grampas siblings. I have a range of census documents, war records and prison records I could send you. I have also visited the churchyards in Brecon and taken photos.
Lisa
