Hi there,

there is a record for a John Hall being buried 23rd April 1849, in Mathon, if you search on Family Search ( Latter day saints free site) unfortunately the records for burials at Mathon are held in the Herefordshire record office, not The Hive in Worcester (where Kay looked for you).
I'm in Worcester too so can't offer to look for you, Hereford is a bit of a trek sorry.
Regarding Dolefield, there is quite a lot of research already done for you, Dolefield cottages still exist (my best friend at school lived in one of them) she now lives in Bank Farm, Croft Bank which is opposite the cottages, if you Google them both then quite a few people have researched their history.
Regards
Claire
If I get chance over the summer, I might go to Mathon Church and have a look at gravestones for you!
