Cemetery look-up - Hull and Sculcoates.

Hi
I have found family members that died in the Hull and Sculoates areas, and would like to know which cemetery they are buried in if anybody can help.

Unfortunately I only have years of death.

Eleanor Mary Calvert died Hull 1932.
Doris E Lee died Hull 1932.
Nellie Frances Holness died Sculcoates 1934.
Clara Danton died Hull 1938.
George Calvert died Holderness 1950.
Lucy Lee died Hull 1950.
Laura Danton died Hull 1953.
Frederick William Danton died Hull 1954.
John Poulsen died Hull 1956.
Maud Smith died Hull 1958.
John Edward Bess died Hull 1964.
Florence Maude Bates died Hull 1971.
Victor Claude Lee died Hull 1979.
Minnie Lee died Hull 1982.
Constance Amelia Poulsen died Beverley 1983.
Doris Bess died Hull 1991.

There are 4 current cemeteries which are still open but no covering dates:

Eastern Cemetery
Hedon Road Cemetery
Northern Cemetery
Western Cemetery

If you cannot visit the History Centre contact the bereavement.services@hullcc.gov.uk  and ask if they can look up the names for you, be polite and see what you receive, I have always found them to be very helpful.

Hi Darin;
My great-grandmother was Maud Smith. She lived in Sculcoates, Hull in 1911-1913. She emigrated to Canada in December 1913.  Maud(e) Smith died 18 September 1952 and was buried in Fort William (now Thunder Bay), Ontario, Canada. Would this be the same Maud Smith you were looking for?

Good day Darin;
Maud's parents were Frank and Emily Robins (Robbins). She had married John Smith in Dublin, Ireland in 1904 and were living in Sculcoates at the time of the 1911 census with their three children. They had a fourth child Emily in the first quarter of 1913. John passed away at some point that spring and Maud remarried to his younger brother Timothy Smith in August 1913. The family emigrated to Canada in December of that year.

I don't think there's an Irish connection.

As far as I'm aware the only 2 places the family lived were Hull and Ramsgate, Kent.
