Seeking further assistance to locate information on William POOLE, father of William James CULLERNE, christening 31.10.1858 St Sampsons, Cricklade - Mother Jane CULERNE. William Snr and Jane never married. Would like to work back on the POOLE lineage, regards Jason

I noticed a William Pool baptized 13 March 1807 parents Thomas & Mary, might be your man.

1851 I am pretty sure he is a Farm Labourer with the Barton Family in Ham, Gloucestershire;
Henry POOL, 23 (1828), Unm, born Somerfordlaine, Wiltshire.

There is another one born c 1833 Great Somerford, Wiltshire in 1851 Census but not yours as he is Unm, A Farmer of 200 Acres.

The baptism I found on the other thread (1858) was of William Cullerne, to mother Jane Cullerne.

Later censuses, and BMD's show the name as Cullom and Cullearn.

It was some Ancestry trees that suggested his father was William Poole?
