Could this be his family?
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01emh/
Jacob Huber, wife Sophie, and two children, Eugen (aged 17 in 1931) and Artur (aged 10)
This doesn't seem to have been their first arrival into Mexico as last residence and place they were heading are both listed as Monterrey.

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01emi/
 - here in 1939 Jacob and Sophie only, heading for Tampico.  Jacob b. Rosenheim Sophie b. "Moskau".

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X22S-LM2
 - fit with this border crossing for Sophie, mentions husband Jacob and son Walter
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X22S-LMN
 - and this earlier border crossing for Walter, giving father as Jacob and birthplace as Samarkand.

Yes!
That is my family! is incredible that you found them wow.,, many thanks for that! :)

I' m still missing something from Eugen though, (my Opa) but this is a good starting point.

I'm hoping to find his birth certificate. How could I do so, if the place he apparently was born is so far away from Germany now?  -I'm still not sure about his birthplace, but seeing that Walter is from That area, it's safe to assume my Opa would be from there too. (It just checks out)

Any leads? This has been very helpful and enlightening. :)

It could be quite hard to track down surviving records, given the time period and location.  There may not have been an official birth certificate, only church records.  Samarkand was under Russian rule at this time (may be related to Sophie being from Moscow):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Turkestan

I think you should start by getting as much as you can out of records in Mexico - do you have his marriage?  Does the family remember when/where approximately his parents died - did they stay in Mexico when the boys went back in WWII? Did the brothers also return to Mexico after the war?

You can browse through civil registration records for Nuevo Leon, including Monterrey, here:
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1916238

Unfortunately it doesn't seem that there is an index, but marriages for 1942 and 1943 are available.

(I've removed the names of the children of Eugen and Artur as we try to avoid discussing details of living persons on Rootschat).

Question is if is meant Rosenheim, Bavaria (Bayern), Germany (Deutschland)
or the Rosenheim in Russia as this link has not Germany stated?
http://www.die-maus-bremen.de/Datenbanken/auswanderer/passagierli/index.php?id=liste&LNr=600525&nummer=Huber&ArchivIdent=AIII15-21.08.1939-2_N&abreisehafen=Bremen&ankunftshafen=Tampico,_Mexiko&unternehmer=Nordd._Lloyd,_Bremen&lang=de

But of sure is that Rosenheim in Germany had and has still Breweries. His occupation shows "Braumeister" (brewmaster).  ;D No idea if russian Rosenheim also had.

Here the Link for Bavarian church archives: http://wiki-en.genealogy.net/Bavaria_Archives#
Would assume you need roman.cath.? So you would have to ask at Diocesan Archive of Erz-Bistum München (Munich)-Freising. The stated Link does not work, searched for it.
Ask if they have Rosenheim files: http://www.erzbistum-muenchen.de/Page001020.aspx

In Germany there is civil registration for the year 1878.
You will get the information concerning Jacob's birth and parents from the

"Standesamt" at Rosenheim.

The birth of Jacob Huber is registered under the number 1878/51.
