DETECTIVE, NEIGHBORS RESCUE WOMAN FROM FIRE Two elderly neighbours and a police detective knocked down a locked door and ran into a burning house Tuesday morning, rescuing a frail 83-year-old woman who was severely burned as she tried to crawl outside. Nora Boulton, who has lived with her husband Charles at 5959 SW 28th St. for more than 20 years, was listed in critical condition at Doctor's Hospital. FIRE AFTERMATH A Metro-Dade paramedic and a fire fighter lead Charles Boulton, 83 years, from his home after a fire that critically injured Boulton's wife, Nora. Metro police Detective Barry Savage and two neighbours of the Boultons knocked down a locked door to get Mrs Boulton out of the house at 5959 SW 28th Street. Mrs Boulton, who suffered burns over 85 per cent of her body, was listed in critical condition at Doctor's Hospital. Charles Boulton was admitted to the hospital for observation
