You have not said whether he has died, but, if so, have you considered talking to any living relatives to see what they know?  (You have not put whether you are related to him).

Are you sure he was born in Limerick? or even Ireland? the online civil registration index for Ireland goes up to 1958 and a search for 'Kevin Kent' brings up only 2 entries- a birth in 1920 and a marriage in 1958.

There are several close matches in English records. Do you have any idea where he might have died?
