Fylingdales Marriage 1840
« on: Friday 30 January 15 18:16 GMT (UK) »
If anyone is popping into NYRO or hold parish records, I'd be very grateful for some help,  I'm wanting a marriage lookup please for Sarah Wright and Joseph Marshal Avitt, JFM 1840 at Fylingdales.  FindMyPast hold some records but sadly not for this time frame.

I'm trying to get away without buying the marriage certificate as all I'm after is the bride's father's name and his profession to confirm whether or not I'm on the 'Wright' line!

Many thanks!

Julie

joseph and sarah are living with sarahs mother mary wright on the 1851 cencus, I have tried to take a look at the 1841 cencus for mary for you but unfortunately its far to faded to read, or maybe its just my eyes?

have you thought of contacting the church at fylingdale to see if they can help?

Yes, thank you.. I'm aware of the census ....I'm trying to prove that the Sarah Wright who married Joseph Marshall Avitt is from "my" Wrights and if so Mary Wright living with them would be my hubby's 4xGGM.  I've taken the plunge and ordered their marriage certificate.
