RASC Feltham WW11 occupation: Stores clerk
« on: Friday 30 January 15 19:13 GMT (UK) »
Hello.

My grandfather, Malcolm Louis Macgregor (a mystery), was a Stores Clerk in Feltham Depot (andor War Office if the two were different) during WW11. I am trying to find out what he did - job description, was he a civilian or military?, he became a civil servant after the war. His funeral, expected to be small by the family, turned different. Field Marshal Montgomery and Anthony Eden were present, and a military honour guard. He spent some time in Kenya and possibly Singapore post-war.

Can anyone suggest where I could find out more about him and his occupation? I'm in Canada, so looking up documents could be tricky - but if I knew which documents to look for, it could be sorted somehow.

Thank you for any help.

Roslyn
