Inchrory Fodderty

In searching for Mackenzies in Fodderty ( I know, needle in a haystack ) I have found many records that refer to Inchrory.  Can anyone advise if they know was this an area, farm etc. This would greatly help my search. thanks

thanks Claire. yes I have seen this before but thank you anyway.  I have found various references to Inchrory along with Fodderty and Strathpeffer etc as if it is a small village and reference to the name in Birth/Death extracts ect, even in the Census of 1851, but no reference on any map.   Will keep looking. Alex

At least 13 McKenzie households showing in Inchory on the 1851 census...

Thanks Monica.        I have traced line back through William McKenzie born 01/08/1861 Fodderty son of John McKenzie Inchory and Margaret Bain.  I have a death entry for John McKenzie 5/02/1790 Fodderty Inchrory. I have various 'children' all sons or daughters of John McKenzie Fodderty as well as census records for McKenzies in Inchrory.   To confirm any of these as siblings of William, I think I need to understand what and where is Inchrory i.e. can it help to identify any of the children found as sons or daughters of John and Margaret as I would like to follow their line forward and see where life took them and theirs.

Google Earth shows 'Inchrory' some 9km due west of Corgarff and very close to the Cairngorms national park, it is also some 80km ssw of Fodderty. Google shows only one residence/building at Inchrory.
Fodderty is 3km due west of Dingwall.

Thanks Saddles.    The Inchrory in question is located in Fodderty Parish. There are references to this eg  'Chapel of the Virgin Mary of Inchrory - north side of the river opposite Fodderty churchyard'.  However there is nothing in this locality to suggest a settlement etc that would house families.
