My mothers brother Jack(john)brewerton was aone off, sadley he died in the early nineties,a couple of years before he died he came to live with us and started to tell me stories about what he did in ww11,    he said he joined the London Irish reg.(lied about his age he was only seventeen)and then became one of the first members of the sbs,his first parachute jumps where from a plane whear you had to drop from underneath before they used side doors,he fort with Anders Larsen and the only other name i can remember was Alan Barry, the BBC were going to interview him but he sadley died the day before the interview. Its a long shot but i would just love to hear from anyone who knew him or was with him in the SBS,some of the stories would make a good film.hope i may hear from someone oneday.thanks.
