Searching for any information on the Miller family from Corsley, Warminster.

I am looking for any information I can find on the Miller family who lived in Corsley, Nr. Warminster in the late 1800's up until at least 1950.   The person I am most interested in is Nora Lily Miller who was born around 1913.  I believe she had a daughter born around 1943.   Nora worked at an Hotel in Bath around 1950.     I would be very grateful for any information.

There is no birth registration for a Nora(h) Lily Miller using a birthyear of 1911-1915

No marriage or death for that name

You would need to purchase a copy of the daughters birth cert to get her details

was Miller Norah's maiden name? if so we would need her married surname, if she married

have you got her parents names?  / siblings names ?  Miller is a quite common name so any info to narrow the search would be helpful.

however, as her daughter may still be alive , we cannot discuss her daughter  ( Rootschat  policy)

If the child was born 1943 - Nora could have been born after 1913 so I extended the birthyear range to 1916-1926

There are possibilities in 1918 and 1924 but not in Wiltshire and only the initial of the second name is shown - not the full christian name

Both can be found on freebmd.  The 1918 one I can post details here but the 1924 could still be living

Thank you for that information,    I am afraid I know no more than I have posted.   Nora Lily Miller was my birth mother, and I was born 1950, and she already had the daughter born 1943 or there abouts.   All I have is that her (Nora Lily's) mother was living in Corsley,  I was born in Southmead in Bristol, in 1950.

If the daughter b 1943 was born in Corsley, the birth would have been registered in the Warminster Registration District (RD)

There is a female birth in that RD in 1943 but although the mothers maiden name was Miller - the birth surname wasn't and there is a marriage between the parents in 1939 plus the birth of another child in 1940.

There is no Miller/Miller birth in that RD

There are Miller/Miller births in other parts of Wiltshire but without more details of the child it would be impossible to determine the correct entry
