Hi, I am looking for the grave of Alma Gunter, first wife of my late father. Also wish to know who is in a grave at Section 15C No.204 with d.o.b and d.o.d. if possible please, all at Rake Lane Cemetery, Liscard, Wirral. Thank You.

Hi,
Welcome to RootsChat
You've probably seen this website already, but just in case...
http://www.wallaseycemetery.co.uk/the%20Friends.htm
As you have such detailed information of the grave number maybe they could look and see who's there
Is GUNTER Alma's maiden name or her married name? I ask because I can't find a death for her
Regards,
Daisy

Hi,
I still can't find a death for an Alma GUNTER but I can see two births and marriages,
Births
Alma GUNTER Dec Q 1919 Birkenhead 8a 1025
mmn: DALEY
Alma B J GUNTER Dec Q 1927 Bradfield 2c 488
mmn: BAILEY
Marriages
Alma GUNTER Mar Q 1946 Wallasey 8a 1381
Spouse: MATTHEWS
Alma B J GUNTER Sep Q 1952 Wokingham 6a 565
Spouse: SMITH
From the area we have been looking at I would think that the first one could be the Alma GUNTER that you are looking for. If so this looks like her death,
Alma MATTHEWS Mar 1958 Wallasey 10a 794
Age: 38
If this is the right lady then maybe local newspapers would have an obituary for her? If this is the right DOD then contacting Wirral about the Wallasey News, 1899-1985 might help.
