Moving to Alderney

Hi, a newbie here!

Thinking of moving to Alderney but have a couple of very important questions to ask first:

1.  Are there any pet shops/dog food suppliers on the island?  If not, how do you get hold of stuff for pets?

2.  Interested in finding out how many pets there are on the island - anyone know if there is a statistics website/office?

3.  Is there a chimney sweep on the island?  Is there a need for one?
