Bramley Recreation Ground for cleanup and a touch of colour?
« on: Friday 13 February 15 05:16 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Could I please have a clean up of this photo.

If anyone would like to try a touch of colour the houses in the background are Yorkshire stone with grey slate roofs.

Thanks,

Ian

The colouring people should have a field day with this one Ian!    ;) ;)

This is just a quick clean - not a very good one at that.  I wonder if that is a holly tree near the shelter - other trees don't seem to have leaves - that's why I am wondering!

Thanks Wiggy.

Yes I would say that is a Holly tree near the shelter, there were many Holly trees around the park.

What about mentioning colouring in the title - might bring in the colourists!

Good evening,

They are great colours Caz, excellent job.

Ian where is the recreation ground? I often pass through Bramley but don't remember seeing it or a sign for it.

Just went on google maps for a look and got a shock. On map view it shows the garage at the roundabout as both a shell garage and a murco garage. A look at street view though shows a shell garage from Horsham rd but a BP garage from station rd.

It's years since we delivered to the murco, never did the shell but now do the BP during warmer weather when they need ice cream.
