Ffynnon Sulien Corwen house and well
« on: Monday 16 February 15 13:52 GMT (UK) »
I am researching the occupants of the house. The information so far :
1839 recorded as part of a farm Clawddponcen and the tenant was listed as David Parry.
1891 census has listed occupants as- Hugh Jones widower born in Llangower aged 80 agricultural labourer with 2 daughters Margaret born in Gwyddlewern aged 49 and Mary born in Corwen aged 31 both unmarried dressmakers.
1917 the death is recorded of Richard James aged 68 who took over the farm 7 years previously on his retirement as a goods guard with GWR. He was born in Glyndyfrdwy. He married 3 times. He was a sunday school teacher at Corwen Baptist Chapel.
1952 a tenancy agreement is listed for a John Morris Edwards.

Can anyone fill in the gaps ?

ah yes I have seen that already. I was wondering if perhaps I traced some of the names of people who I know lived here I might find perhaps family members who stayed on at the house perhaps after parents had died ? I know a helen constantinou bought the derelict house in the 1970's and lived there until her death in 2012/13.
