Seeking information on the Bullen family who established this company in Liverpool in 1912. I have emailed the company but have not received a reply. Hoping someone on here can help.

Do you have names, dates and places of birth for any of the Bullen family? Did they live in Liverpool?

You could try locating them in the 1911 census and in directories.

What kind of information are you seeking? For example do you hope to take the family back further generations or trace a particular Bullen forward?

Do you have the family in any census and if so can you provide details. There are a couple of Bullen families in Liverpool but I can't see any Architects. The closest to that occupation is a printer called William b 1864.

A google search finds mention of an Alfred Bullen and a Peter Bullen ....

I am trying to link my Bullen family who lived in in Liverpool to another Bullen family who  are from Ormskirk. I was wanting some details eg DOB,parents siblings or childrens names of Alfred Bullen.

Do you include in your Bullen family a Richard F Bullen who married an Elizabeth Snowden in 1913?

Do you have a date and place of birth for Alfred? There are a couple on the 1901 census but none of them have an occupation related to Architecture.  :-\

Hi Wendy

The 1911 directory does not list an architect called Bullen. He may have been a junior at another business and Weightman and Bullen was his first partnership. He may not have been a head of household in 1911; nor in fact living in Liverpool. Do you have his foreame?

There is an architects called William H Weightman & Son at Derby Buildings in Fenwick Street.
