Luftwaffe WW2 records
« on: Friday 20 February 15 10:54 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone know any databases that contain WW2 Luftwaffe records? I am trying to find a link to a German Pilot. I have two versions of his surname and have the unit he belonged to.

He was either called Unteroffizier 'Baier' or 'Beier' and served with KG/51 during WW2.

Many thanks.

hello,

I am researching on the Luftwaffe history for almost 35 years and have a lot of files with names and units. "Yours is KG 51 not KG/51. This is a bomb unit.
If you want, you can visit my web site www.luftwaffe.be and contact me. I'll see if I can help you. However without surname for this very common name, that won't be an easy task.
Best regards
Erik
