Hi all.
I have been researching the Rutherford family and found that my wifes' ancestors come from Aghavea and Aghalurcher Parishes in Fermanagh.
i have got back as far as John Rutherford b.1796, son of Catherine a widow in 1821, b. circa 1755.
John was married to another Catherine and they had 5 Children, Ellen b.1816, Fanny b.1819, Little b. c 1820, John b 1825 and Christopher b 1825, from whom my wife is decsended.
There are other branches of the family in Aghalurcher and Aghavea, as well as in Inishmacsaint and Devenish, but I am unable to link any of them together.
I would be very grateful for any information anyone may have on these families.
