Who Were The Parents of William Burrell Born 1831 Lurgan Ireland??

Hi everyone,  Really Hoping someone can help with my search to find out who William Burrell's parents were....
He was Born, 15 April 1831 in Lurgan Ireland.
William married Elizabeth Gray in Shankill on 20 Jan 1865 and Immigrated to New Zealand soon after

I have seen a Marriage record online that gives his fathers name as William,  born about 1805 but doesn't give any more clues ... I Would Really like to know who his mother was....

Elizabeth Gray's  Parents were Robert Gray and Ellen Glendenning...     not very Irish sounding names!

This is the first family I have had to research in Ireland so any online searchable websites that anyone can recommend would be Awesome!!

Any help would be so appreciated, I have been stuck at this spot in my search for years.....

The extracted marriage record list William's father as William-

The only place in Irish records that you are likely to get the name of William's mother might be on  his baptism record (not all recorded mother's name- either 1st or last) but in order to see if there might be such a record you'll need to know both where the family lived and their religion.

Thanks aghadowey, I  have had a look through what paperwork I have the only religions mentioned are Church of England for the Grays and Anglican for the Burrells..

In that case Church of Ireland is the place to start. However, there might be 2 problems. One is that C. of I. registers usually only record mother's first name and two is that many pre-1880s registers were lost in the 1920 after being sent to Dublin for safe-keeping.

Lots of 'Burrell's' living in neighbouring town of Portadown.  Seagoe Church of Ireland Parish registers worth investigating.  The Burrells lived in many townlands equal distance between the Towns of Lurgan and Portadown.

I have looked at that marriage in GRONI and William Burrell's father was a William , a weaver and Elizabeth's father was Robert, a blacksmith.  Most of the Burrel(l)s seem to live near Portadown, but no sign of a William in 1865.

Usually a couple married in the bride's church, so William may not have been C of I.

Hi,
There is a William Burrell listed in the tithes applotment records for Seagoe Parish in 1834 in the townland of Drumnacnvey plus a Robert Gray in the townland of Breagh.  These would have been in the timeframe that William and Elizabeth were born.   http://www.lurganancestry.com/seagoetithes1834p1.htm
