Completed: Medal Index Card
« on: Friday 27 February 15 14:29 GMT (UK) »
Can someone please help: I am researching a casualty for an elderly neighbour.  I'm looking for the medal index card for Pte 12788 Ivor Cole, Welsh Regiment 9 Bn who died 25 Sept 1915.  Can someone please do a look up for his medal card and I would appreciate either a copy or its details.  I know its at the National Archives but I am trying to be cost effective for my neighbour.

I know these are free to view on Ancestry by opening a free account but for whatever reason I get trouble opening Ancestry on my laptop.

Thanks

Hi
Thanks for your help; I have just used up my FindMyPast subscription and I usually do use my local library but unfortunately I am stuck in today waiting on a delivery and would have popped over the library in the morning, however you have come to the rescue.  Many thanks, R
