I have a Holborn family in my tree (won't be related to yours as they are from the North East of England), but I have had great fun with the spelling.

Two more to add to your list : - Holburn and Holbron.  They were all the same family, but the accent must have confused the Curate  :D

 :) Mo, they could be related to yours, as some of the family moved from Norfolk to Yorkshire in the 19th century.  I agree, there's so many different ways of spelling the name .

Also my Gt Uncle thought the family originated in Scotland & moved down the E coast of the UK over the centuries !
