John Sise (1720-1790) d. Castlelyon  m  Maria ( Ann? ) Murray (1725-1788) d. Castleyon. I am going spare trying to find parents of both. The above info came purportedly from a family bible.  Anglo-French origin, Norman decent and possibly Hugeonaut?  The Size family settled in Munster, Ireland after going first to England. Were around Castlelyon,Cork,Ireland mainly. My direct ancestor was Edward Smyth Sise (1789-1851) where born in Ireland?  Help really needed please. Anne ???

Thank you for your help. Nothing there rings a bell. Origins: Normandy/England then Ireland. Have info but need to verify. Walter de Size (Royal House of Navarra). Associated with Hugo de Lacey.  Need proof before I can claim as an ancestor. Walter also associated with Strongbow.  Where do I go to verify the information I have in regard to this de Syse/Size/Sise.  Walter de Syse was married to Margaret Hussey daughter of James Hussey of Meath. I have found her in the IGI some years back but no proof of marriage. If you can advise me where I go for help  such as a Heraldry or Coat of Arms place I would be very grateful .
