tracing a relative who trained at Rounda Hospital,

I am trying to find the surname of a relative of my husband. From a family letter dated 1947 we know she trained at and got her diploma from Rotunda Hospital Dublin. She then went to India in 1850 with her husband and young son and practised out there.
Can anyone give me any ideas on how to trace her - possibly through a medical directory.
I am hoping that if I can find out her maiden name, I may be able to trace her husband's ancestors in Ireland. Her husband was O'Connor so her maiden name would hopefully narrow down the search!

National Archives have them by the looks of things, first paragraph of Main Collections

Check you dates, letter 1947 India 1850!

The dates are correct Sinann. Relative went to India 1850. The letter was written by a descendant of hers in 1947 to family in England.
The person I am trying to trace is Theresa who married John O'Connor. Their son, Charles Edward was about six months old when they went to live in India. John O'Connor was a civil engineer and Theresa was a lady doctor.
