I am looking for the parents of Alison Edgar her middle name was Mckinstry and she was born in Maybole Scotland in 1856.Her father was William Edgar and mother Sarah Bell.I would like to know who Sarah Bells parents were and where they came from in Ireland.Thankyou Anne.PS i think William came from CO Waterford.

Hi Ticker,no i havent got any further with this one but to be honest i havent been looking for a while i am still searching for David Kennedy from Scotland,he is an absolute nightmare.I went onto the Genealogy.com site and a lovely man on there who lives in Dundee is helping me with this search,he has been to the record office and even rang the registrar for me and they are busy at the moment trying to find him.Its amazing the wonderful people there are who are willing to give up their time to help strangers,i just cant get over their kindness.Even on this site i have had some people bend over backwards to help,all i can say is thankgod for these great people.I will get in touch againTicker when i start searching again.Anne.
