Bigamy Trials 1881 ish
« on: Wednesday 11 March 15 15:35 GMT (UK) »
Hi All

This week 'despair' and others pointed me in the right direction as to my gggm Elizabeth Hassell/Bryan.  At the same time, it was found that her sister Georgina Hassell had committed Bigamy 3 times and taken to court.  The case was sent to the Public Prosecutor about 1881 but I can't find any mention of the outcome.

If someone can advise me as to where I can find this info I would be most grateful.  I have found notice of the case in the Rhyl Advertiser and the Teesdale papers but nothing further.

Tia.
Sue
