Well all I can say is that the children are stepchildren in 1911?

There is,however,a marriage record for the daughter Rhoda in 1917,which is witnessed by the step-father and a Jane March(mother or sister?),in which Rhoda's father is given as Henry March,"soldier".Could explain absence from census? Can't find an appropriate military record at the moment.

Regards
Roger
