old family friend

Hi All, I am trying to trace an old family friend of my mothers, if you can help in any way it would be most gratefully accepted. : (*)lived on Stringer Close Hattersley Motrom Manchester with her parents, we think they are called (*). This was back in 1970 I've tried various methods but to no avail. Thank you

I would suggest that the lady you seek has most probably married, there's a potential entry for her in 1973, but if you can get to the local archives, then a look at the electoral registers for the street will show when they stopped living there, but not where they went afterwards.

Other than that, you should also have a look at the marriage indexes to see if there are any other likely candidates, or the death index to see if her parents have passed away.
