Hi
I have for a James Griffiths born 1805 but I'm not convinced that he is the one that you're looking got! My James was born in 1805 at  Esgairhiw Farm. Llandewi Ystradenny and died in 1851 at Craftyperthy, Llandewi Ystradenny. He married Mary Gould dau of Thomas Gould and Elizabeth Davies in 1833.
Any connection?

Mahalo for the response, but it seems I had another senior moment as Griffiths was Court declared  father, but James was named Greenway after his mother.
