I am a descendant of Alexander Gauld and Annie McPherson Gauld through their son John Irvine Gauld, my Great grandfather. I would like to know if you were satisfied with the names and dates of Ann McPherson's parents as listed in #2 in the original post of 18 March 15? Was more information ever found? Were you able to verify them as the parents? Since Ann died in 1898 at 81 years old, another possible birth date is 1817. Thank you.
